About

I am a Postdoctoral researcher at King's College, London, in the Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology group. You can find my official webpage here.

I grew up in a village near Bologna, Italy, where I moved later to take the BSc degree in Astronomy and the MSc degree in Theoretical Physics.  I did my Master thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Michele Cicoli.

I got my PhD in Theoretical High Energy Physics under the Cluster of Excellence 'Quantum Universe' at DESY in Hamburg, Germany. Together with my supervisor Dr. Alexander Westphal, I worked on the phenomenology of String Theory. My publications have focused on String Theory and its relations with cosmology (in particular with inflation and dark matter).

Besides physics, I enjoy reading sci-fi books, taking pictures, playing my Fender Jaguar bass and diving.
